We're back!

We're back from our short vacation and glad to be back! We went to go visit some family in Mexico. We had a lot of fun, no internet access and no phones, very relaxing. We will be posting some of the pictures we took later once we get settled and back on track. But here is a picture of us so everyone can see what we look like, I know we are always curious to see what people look like! It was taken by a relative with their point and shoot camera. Going out of town again!

We will be flying out today for a short vacation returning Monday. Not sure what kind of internet access we are going to have, so we will try and respond to e-mails from over there if we can, if not we will get back to you on Monday. :) We will post pictures when we get back! Julie and Paul's Wedding

We're back! We shot a great wedding yesterday in Killeen, Texas. We had never met Julie or Paul but we're so happy that they chose us out of so many photographers to come and shoot their wedding. We were honored because Julie is a photographer as well so she understood the importance of photography for her wedding, more than anything else. She wrote me a few days before telling me she was more excited about the pictures than she was about anything else, we were humbled. They were married at Paul's parents family estate. It was absolutely amazing, the place was sooo big and there were so many things to photograph. We were treated like family the whole time we were there. Thank you to everyone we met there for being so open and kind. Now on to the pictures...

Out of Town

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be out of town for the next couple of days. We're heading out today to shoot Julie and Paul's wedding in Killeen, Texas. We are excited to meet both of them! Just wanted to let everyone know, in case there was a delay in e-mail response. We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Courtney and Jason's Wedding

We had the chance to shoot Courtney and Jason's beautiful wedding this past Saturday. Tanya and I both had a lot of fun. She was able to come along and second shoot for me again on this wedding. Thanks to Courtney and Jason for allowing her to come out with me. The ones with the pink P are the ones that she shot. We started out the pre-ceremony photos at the Embassy Suites and got the chance to get to know all of the girls, they were all really nice and super laid back. They were up for trying anything crazy I suggested. The ceremony was held at the First United Methodist church, the ceremony was very beautiful, everyone could feel the love that they have for each other. And the reception was held at the Cacharel Restaurant & Grand Ballroom. This was my first time shooting there and I absolutely loved it. I definitely can not miss mentioning that they had the wonderful Emerald City band. They had everyone on their feet dancing. Here are a few from their wedding... Baby pictures- Braylon!

Had the chance to do some baby pictures for the first time today for Brandy and Brien's son, Braylon. Brandy is a friend of my wife's and we actually shot their wedding a while back. It's tougher to shoot babies than I thought it was going to be, but I had a lot of fun doing them! Here are a few of my favorites...

Jeanne and Jeff's Wedding

I had the opportunity to shoot Jeanne and Jeff's wedding this past weekend. The weekend started out with their traditional Cambodian ceremony at the First Baptist church of Carrollton. This was something new to me but I really enjoyed it. All of the colors and different outfits were absolutely beautiful. I found myself really intrigued by the different customs and traditions. They had another outdoor ceremony at the Omni Mandalay hotel in Las Colinas. It almost looked like it was going to to rain while they were setting up, but I am so glad that Jeanne stuck to her guns and decided to keep it outside and not move the ceremony indoors. No detail was forgotten, the flowers, dresses and location were all absolutely gorgeous. The bridal party were all a lot of fun. Jeanne and Jeff, thanks for letting us be part of your wedding day.
